Here is a pre-hurricane roundup for you:
- Russ makes RSS do tricks with XSLT, shows us how cool StAX is, and has a mobile office on his phone.

- Isabel gets closer.
- Ray Ozzie: Saving the Browser. Is that prior art? I hope so.
- Get your google code on: Google CodeJam 2003. It’s like any other TopCoder event with more pressure.
- According to MozillaZine, Both Mozilla and Jabber will be a tight part of Sun’s Java Desktop System. Good choices.
- Speaking of Jabber, I’m taking a look at the latest version of Jive Software‘s Smack. I missed the release last month, but here’s the changelog.
- Charles Miller thinks that USB keyring devices will bring back sneakernet. Long live sneakernet!

PC Expo: A Poor Showing

Janak Parekh at PocketPC Thoughts went to PC Expo at the Javits Center in New York.

Janak took some pictures to show exactly how little of the show floor was occupied. It’s pathetic.

It’s sad, really. I used to enjoy a quick roadtrip up to New York City in order to fondle the latest gadgets and tech. I’m really glad that I decided not to go this year.

ALL PREPARATIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY SHOULD BE RUSHED TO COMPLETION IN THE HURRICANE WARNING AREA.
