I just got my WPC11 v3 working with Ubuntu by upgrading the firmware. The card worked fine in my IBM T41p with Hoary, but gacked on my Dell Inspiron 5000. After the upgrade it seems work nicely in the Dell.

Basic instruction:
* Boot to XP (ugh)
* Install the Linksys v2.5 Driver with the 3.0 card from Linksys
– right clicking on the inf file seemed to do the trick
* Insert WPC11 into the computer
* Use winupdate to load the new firmware
